Its 12:23 am
This is going to be short,I worked today til closing and have to do it again tomorrow and then work a split shift Monday...including my first overnight shift. So I am going to reprint a blog from my Facebook before I moved here to Blogspot. I don't know if this will count but its the best I can do so late.
As I look at my list,I have to laugh a bit...half of these films are just throw away movies. If I had to list my true 50,it would a LOT different from this list but the catch was I only had 15 minutes to post my list. So this is what I did. Hope everyone gets a couple of chuckles out of it.
This was originally posted 3 August 2009 on Facebook.
Its 5:45 am......picked this up from Mike White,a very talented writer/editor/publisher.
15 movies? You have to be kidding me. Here's the same idea but taken to a more acceptable level.
Rules: Don't take too long to think about it. Fifty movies you've seen that will always stick with you. First fifty you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes. Tag fifteen friends, including me because I'm interested in seeing what movies my friends choose.
To do this, go to your Notes tab on your profile page, paste rules in a new note, cast your fifteen picks, and tag people in the note -- upper right hand side. Don't just reply back with your fifty.
I hope you participate, even if you didn't get tagged!

How would your top 5 change if you wrote this list again today?
ReplyDeleteWow,that is a great question Samantha! While I like all kind of movies,my heart is with good dramas and dare I say it,fanboy movies.
DeleteI had 15 minutes to write this but if I had to go back, these would be my top 5
1. Starship Troopers
2. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
3. The LOTR Trilogy
4. Gettysburg
5. Monsters,Inc.
This is interesting...but 50 movies? I don't think I can come up with that many!
ReplyDeleteAnd in only 15 minutes to boot!! But if you had a couple of hours, you could fill this list easy!
DeleteI couldn't think of 50 movies to save my life. Can't even remember where I left my glasses. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteLove that Christopher Reeve Superman movie.
Visiting from UBC,
I enjoyed the first two films, the third was pushing it and the last one was pure garbage. I liked "Superman Returns" while "Man of Steel" was good,it was lacking emotion.
DeleteMy 50 favourites....hmmm I'm not sure, but in my top 3 would be=
ReplyDeleteCold Mountain, The Green Mile and Dr Zhivago (2002) :)
I have yet to see Cold Mountain and the remake of Dr. Zhivago....but The Green Mile is Top 50 material for sure.
DeleteNot a bad list.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nick...and in only 15 minutes too....*L*
